Your kind thoughts carry weight

Southeast Asia is gripped by intense heatwaves with temperatures surpassing 42 degrees Celsius in some areas, while Dubai was just hit by an unprecedented thunderstorm that flooded the whole city.

Major earthquakes continue to strike countries in the Asia Pacific fault lines, with Japan experiencing the first quake of the year, and Taiwan still experiencing series of quakes and aftershocks.

Meanwhile, the prolonged conflict between Russia and Ukraine, alongside escalating tensions in the Middle East, are contributing to heightened global instability.

In these challenging times, the world is in desperate need of a collective outpouring of positivity. The influence of our thoughts and emotions extends far beyond our immediate awareness; they can affect the world around us, for everything at its core is vibration.

Compassion, the highest form of love and wisdom, is a healing energy not subject to any limitations or external conditions. It stands as a beacon of light that guides us towards deeper connections and understanding.
On Mother’s Day every year, Tzu Chi holds its Buddha Day celebration to express gratitude to the Buddha, our parents, and all those around us. People come together on this day to gather kind thoughts and offer prayers for the well-being of our planet.

Among the many such ceremonies, the Buddha Bathing Ceremony held by Tzu Chi Merit (Singapore) is one that features a solemn procession of thousands of people in an outdoor stadium at night.
Guided by local dignitaries and representatives from major religions, the event takes on a profound significance as thousands illuminate the night with the lotus lamps and the warmth of their hearts.

You, your family and friends are cordially invited to join us for this meaningful occasion. People from all races and religions are welcomed.
