Deepen Your Understanding of Buddhism This Buddha Day!

Strengthen your mind with Dharma Sharing Sessions

Purify your mind at the annual Buddha Day Celebration

Mother’s Day falls on the second Sunday of every May. During this week, the global Tzu Chi community celebrates a total of three events: Buddha Day, Mother’s Day and Global Tzu Chi Day. This year, let’s join the community in cultivating positive intentions and immersing in the joy of Dharma teachings.

In addition, the day after Mother’s Day happens to be a public holiday — it’s the official Vesak Day. To make it more convenient for the public to participate in the annual Buddha Day Celebration, this year’s Buddha bathing ceremonies have been extended to five sessions over two days. Everyone is cordially invited to return to Jing Si Hall at Pasir Ris to express gratitude to the Buddha, our parents, and all living beings.

Dharma Sharing Session

Starting from 2024, Tzu Chi has resumed the Monthly Dharma Sharing Session on the fourth Saturday of every month. Each two-hour session comprises worshipping, scripture recital, sharing of insights, and more.

Master Cheng Yen once explained the meaning of "Dharma Sharing Session" to the volunteers: "Spiritual cultivation is about cultivating the mind, and it can only be achieved while interacting with others. Therefore, attending a study group is about using the opportunity to learn the art of harmonising and integrating with others.”
Upcoming Dates: 24 May, 28 June, 26 July 2025
Venue: Jing Si Hall Third Level (9 Elias Road, Singapore 519937)

The sessions are open to all Tzu Chi volunteers and members of the public. No registration is needed.
